The Lufkin Convention & Visitors Bureau (LCVB) is the driving force behind Lufkin’s thriving visitor industry. Successful visitor promotion includes partnerships and a concerted effort by all interested parties. The Lufkin Convention & Visitors Bureau’s promotional efforts are most effective as part of a united approach that complements the marketing plans and goals of the City of Lufkin, the Lufkin/Angelina County Chamber, and local government.

The Lufkin Convention & Visitors Bureau exists to promote the city, to attract meeting, convention and tourism business to the community, and to enhance and contribute to the overall identity and economic well-being of the city.

The Lufkin Convention and Visitors Bureau (LCVB) is a not for profit, 501(c) 6 organization, incorporated in 1976.

Recognized as the official destination marketing and sales organization for Lufkin, the CVB is responsible for promoting Lufkin and Angelina County as an attractive destination for meetings and conventions, trade shows, and leisure travelers. The CVB also provides a leadership role in shaping the future direction of Lufkin’s tourism development.

The CVB acts as the "concierge" for visitors to Lufkin, providing visitor information and services, creating the desire to extend their stay and return often. Funding for the CVB comes from both the public sector (a percentage of the Accommodations Tax revenues).
