Our birding checklist is based on sigthings collected over a thirty-five year period by a number of avid bird watching individuals. There are 293 species listed with an AOU checklist 7th Edition ordering (47th Supplement). Sightings continue to be made, and seven additional species have been added to the county list since its publication.
