It is that time of the year and I know you all are wondering, “What are we going to do with the kids?!” Well put your mind at ease because the Lufkin Convention and Visitors Bureau is your one stop shop for summer camps and programs! We have put together an entire pamphlet of summer fun for the kids! Click here to download the Summer Camp PDF or come by the office to pick one up.
Lufkin has so many summer activities to keep the kiddos entertained and out of trouble! The Museum of East Texas offers several great art camps that begin in May for the little ones and June for the older children. The Texas Forestry Museum has several camps as well that will allow the kids to enjoy nature and learn while doing it! The Naranjo Museum also offers a great summer program called the “Junior Ranger Camp” that begins the first of June and runs all the way through August for a variety of different age groups. The Ellen Trout Zoo along with the Boys and Girls Club, Kurth Memorial Library, the Pines Theater, and many other organizations also provide awesome summer programs to check out! Be sure to contact them directly or call us here at the Lufkin Convention and Visitors Bureau at 936-633-0359.
