Broaddus Loop
The Broaddus Loop is one of the longest and more advanced routes throughout the surrounding area. This 72.6-mile loop will take cyclists through mostly Angelina County, but will also pass through Nacogdoches and San Augustine counties. The route hosts a variety of scenic features that include farm and pastureland, pine and hardwood forests, and waterfront. View a map of the Broaddus Loop.


103 Out and Back

Highway 103 Out & Back
The Highway 103 Out & Back route is one of the most topographically variable routes in the area. The many hills for cyclists to push themselves to climb is the reason this 25-mile route is considered advanced. These hills can be strenuous for a beginning rider. Shawnee Prairie Advanced Alternative

Shawnee Prairie Advanced Alternative Loop
The Shawnee Prairie Advanced Alternative Loop adds 13.7 miles to the original route and takes cyclists even further through the heart of Angelina County. Riders will have the opportunity to view farm and ranch country, as well as wooded pine and hardwood forests. The beginning of this route starts off with narrow roads that have a rough surface, but the Highway 103 portion of the route utilizes a wide shoulder and has rolling hills to get riders warmed up for the rest of the ride. West Loop Alternative

Wells Loop Alternative
The Wells Loop Alternative adds 8.5 miles to the original Wells Loop, making it slightly more advanced. This 53.8-mile route will take cyclists further into Cherokee County through the small communities of Sweet Union and Forest.
